Great stories, all the time....

I’ve known I was going to be a writer since I was five years old, and my mother explained to me where books came from. I absolutely love what I do. I’ve gotten to work with big international brands including American Express, Pitney Bowes, Merrill Lynch, LoyaltyOne, and Walmart. I’m known for jumping in and producing more content on a smaller budget, handling P&L responsibility for multiple channels with both in-house and contract teams. I know the time difference for India. Sometimes I even wear a suit.

As an award-winning writer, editor, and author, my articles and cover stories have run in national publications including Glamour, Inc, Fortune, Forbes, CNN Money, the Wall St Journal, Popular Mechanics and Salon. Some of them have gotten me on TV. And I’ve written five books including two collaborations with expert co-authors. 

I love to teach, and so I speak regularly at conferences and universities. I live right above the mighty James River, in Richmond, Virginia. My husband is a former chef, so my Instagram feed is full of massively tempting food photographs.
